Philly Cheese Steak Inspired Sloppy Joes

Every other Friday we will be posting an online video and recipe for a different meal, looking at how to make it and the history behind it. Episodes are posted online on Youtube!

Philly Cheese Steak:

-1lb of ground beef 

-1 tsp of worcestershire sauce 

-1/2 cup of Ketchup

-1/2 minced garlic 

-1 tsp black pepper 

-1 tsp garlic powder 

-1/2 tsp onion powder

-1 large yellow onion

-1 green bell pepper 

-1 red bell pepper  

-1 pack of 12 buns 

-1 pack of provolone cheese (Or any other cheese)


French Fries:

-3-4 potatoes 

-1 tbsp parmesan cheese 

-1/2 tsp thyme 

-1/2 garlic powder 



  • Wash , cut, and sautee onion and peppers
  • Take them out of the pan and set them aside 
  • Cook garlic and ground beef till brown
  • Add in onion and peppers 
  • Melt the cheese


  • Cut and air fry potatoes 
  • Toss in a bit or oil, garlic, thyme, rosemary and parmesan 
  • Optional (Put the sandwiches in the oven to get the buns warm)
