CPFP Central Park Foot Patrol looking for volunteers

The Central Park community has been experiencing higher levels of violence that are linked to the meth crisis and other causes rooted in poverty and marginalization. A group of concerned neighbourhood residents started organizing in the fall of 2018, with the hope to start a community foot patrol to increase safety in Central Park.

The CPFP is now looking for volunteers, Fridays and Saturdays from 7 to 10 PM, to patrol the neighbourhood. Patrol starts on Friday May 3.

Call Central Neighbourhoods to find out more. Volunteer orientation TBA.
